Jaran Drew: Is an avid fisherman and loves to get out into the wilderness and explore the mountains of Idaho. He has a daughter that he has been taking on all adventures this past year, showing her to love and care for the wild so that it will be there to enjoy when she gets older.
Below is a Q&A with Jaran on his Memorial day weekend:
Where was your trip to?
It's was my first overnight trip with my daughter to pine flats campground in Idaho.
How long have you been camping?
I have been camping for about 15 years
What do you enjoy about camping?
I enjoy looking up at the stars and spending quality time with family teaching my 3 year old how to enjoy the simple things in life.
What Winterial products did you use?
I have a 3 person Winterial tent with footprint. What I love most about is the easy setup and take down.
What is your favorite thing to bring to cook while camping?
You can never go wrong with s'mores after dinner! I love to cook bacon and eggs in the morning for breakfast.
What is your favorite place to camp and why?
My favorite place to camp is pine flats near garden valley in the boise national forest it is located next to the Payette river and a short hike away you can enjoy some natural hot springs.
If you had one place to take your gear and camp where would it be and why?
This year I would like to take my gear to some alpine lakes near McCall Idaho and do some backpacking and fishing up into the mountains. My goal this year is to catch 6 different species of trout.
